Very nice place to stay. Love the weather and the views are very nice. Nice time kayaking. And taking walks around camp grounds. I didn’t see any place to do any hiking but we did enjoyed riding the our bikes around. We will be back again real soon.

I do not understand why the site does not approve my senior lifetime discount card by saying my number is not valid. It is valid and was recognized for my discount at my campground two days earlier.

The Park Host was very friendly and helpful. My tent campsite was very well maintained and had a beautiful view of both lake and the forest.

We were demolished by ants both outside and inside. The grounds are clearly not being treated. Our neighbor had no a/c in their camper in 98 degree heat due to the power pedestal being broken. Someone came out the first day and claimed they made the repair. Ten minutes after they left, the power pedestal stopped working again. We let the elderly couple stay in our camper with us for the night. Repairman came again the second day and claimed repairs were complete. The couple asked the repairman to stay for a few minutes to test the power pedestal. Again, it stopped working after a few minutes. My husband being an electrician, tried to explain what the issue possibly was but no one listened. FINALLY they figured it out and made the correct repairs. Then we all continued battling the ants. Woke up in the middle of the night with ants all over us. This is a beautiful place but we won’t return. We’ve spent a lot of time at the campground in the past but those good times are long in the past.

It was the worst camping experience!!
Our breaker box at the camp site was not working we spent a day and a half without power !!!!
The ants were so bad they came into our RV
We will never go back to Lake O The Pines
I feel I should get some kind of compensation!!!!

The park is beautiful but was not well maintained with tall grass all around the campsite. We had planned to stay 2 nights. However, after the first night we were covered up with ants coming into our RV. They were everywhere and no way we could eliminate them. They were all around the campsite so we ended up leaving the first morning and only stayed one night.
