The park needs some cleaning up, site 210 has 2 huge holes in the front of it. The public ramp has a downed pine tree beside the walk way to the ramp that needs to be cleaned up. The swimming area needs some work on it. In the summertime the ants are terrible, you have to spray everyday, to keep them out of your camper. The buzzards are terrible at the boat ramp. Parked my truck there 1 day the buzzards pooped all over it, So, now we go to the public ramp to put the boat in. The corp needs to get them some help to clean up the park with the downed trees and mowing. I could go on& on about the park. We like camping at Alley Creek .

Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. The park is beautiful, a little far from Jefferson but worth the drive.

Very nice park! Very quiet on the RV 1 side. RV 1 side is more of a quiet to yourself side and RV 2 side is more of a family oriented side which is a bit more packed together.

Nice sites with great view of the lake. Large, smooth concrete pads. Clean and spacious restrooms with showers. Short drive to Jefferson.
