We were in site #206, a very good site in section 2. Section 1 is more in the open, but section 2 has more trees, part shade, good view of the lake and a nice quiet atmosphere. We did not use the bath houses, but they were standard COE facilities in fairly good shape. Electricity at the site worked fine and the water pressure was okay. There are no sewer hookups, but the dump station was in good shape.
We had TV reception and T-Mobile worked well with phones and hotspot.
The campground was not busy during the week, so we enjoyed the peace and calm.

We absolutely love this place ! Spot 109 is fabulous with an unobstructed lake view. The bald eagles, deer and other wildlife are amazing. I wish it didn’t close for the winter, those are the best camping months in Texas!

This is our favorite campground at Lake O The Pines. It is a beautiful spot. We camped mid-week two days before it closed for the winter. There were very few people and the weather was perfect. We prefer quieter, emptier campgrounds in cooler weather and this one is perfect. It is just too bad they close it at the end of September through the winter.

The campsite was clean, easy to park.
Honey hole easy to access. Nice beach to play at. Lot trees. Only complaint was the number of Dead trees through out the park. Our neighbors were almost hit by falling limbs. Came very close to her and her dog. They need to take them out now
