We very much enjoyed our stay at Alley Creek Campground at Lake O' the Pines!
There were so many beautiful deer. We had them right near our site too. A beautiful Heron was out in the Lake every day near our spot. The restrooms were clean, the hosts were awesome. We definitely will be back again! All of our neighbors were very nice too. Was a peaceful lovely place to camp.

Bathrooms not close to sites and the ones that were in the area weren't great. The pads are very nice.

Beautiful part of Texas, loved the tall pines. We stayed here in our tiny runaway campet for just an overnight stop on a road trip. Beautiful area! Was fairly quiet, had a large group in a big RV camping right next to us and they were a little noisy but not late night noisy, just initially. It's really pretty here, would definitely return.

Please note that the photo for this site is inaccurate. This site is nicely situated with plenty of space to enjoy yourself. The swim beach was nice but a bit outdated as one of the concrete tables was almost completely covered by sand and dirt. There are free life jackets available for use. The road leading to the boat launch was being repaired while we were there but prior to that, there was a lot of daily activity. Plenty of deer seen daily. Squirrels can get a little too comfortable in your site so keep that in mind when you leave objects around. The bathrooms could have been kept cleaner as there were many spiders and webs. The hosts seemed a bit overwhelmed with the upkeep and the grass was quite overgrown. There was a crew that seemed to be hired that came in before the Fourth of July weekend and swept through the area in a day with mowers and weed eaters, which was very good to see.

It was completely overgrown in grass and weeds and the ants just carried us off.
