We enjoyed our stay. Site was clean. However, the section we were in has not been updated and the holiday crowd took a toll on the power as it kept blinking. The playground also desperately needs to be updated. These issues are no fault of the campground, but seems to be funding problems.

Electricity went out twice during the weekend we were there. Also the bathrooms we were near were locked and unusable. Always have a good time there until this weekend.

Very beautiful Park, very relaxing time spent there. We stayed in RV Area E3, Site E311, for a 5-night stay. The back-in site pad was concrete and level. More than long enough for our travel trailer and truck. Each site has a concrete patio with "light" stand and picnic table. The surrounding patio is gravel with a fire pit. Our site had electric and water.
When we got there, we practically had the whole RV Area to ourselves. Our last night (a Friday night), lots of other rv'ers came to enjoy the Park. The roads throughout the Park are easy to navigate (there is a pot-hole or two along the way to watch out for). Our site was very spacious, with a nice view of the lake. We made use of the bathroom/shower facility. Very clean and well-maintained. We will definitely be back to Brushy Creek Park!!

I had requested a 50 amp site. The site provided was 30 amp with no water or dump station. I believe I should be given a refund since I had to stay elsewhere

The lake and park are beautiful. The main shower house should have been torn down and replaced several years ago. Imagine staying a week at a lake and having the worst shower experience possible. All shower hooks broken off. Cold water only. Shower head permanently frozen shooting straight out horizontally. The entire shower house floor being flooded when your shower is done. Each side has only one toilet. The men’s side has the toilet detached from the wall. To their credit if you don’t mind walking 1/2 mile to use the toilet or shower the new shower house in the new section is quite nice. And one of the four individual bathrooms even has hot water. The other three have a hint of warmth. With zero full hookups not many will want to be dragging their camper back and forth to the dump. One of the two dump sites is locked shut. Come on Texas, you can do better.
