Wonderful!! We live further West and loved camping in the tall pine trees. The park was neat, groomed and clean. The park host was very friendly and helpful. Our site was very spacious and with a great view of the lake. Near by Jefferson was an added bonus! Absolute perfection!

I was so pleasantly surprised when we drove up to our site. It was spectacular. We did tent camping, it was peaceful, relaxing and the water felt great! The lake was easily accessible for boats, jet ski’s or whatever you enjoy. Or if you just want to chill and fish you can do that too. I love this place and can’t wait to go back!

Dump Station
This is a large campground with big RVs, great view, sites spaced nice, clean. Although this is all nice there is ONE BIG BUT,they only have one dump station open. They have 2 dump stations, but one has been under repair for far too long, this is the busy season, get it fixed. We had 7 RVs in front of us at the dump Station. We waited over an hour in line before we could start dumping our waste waters. This is totally un-acceptable!!!!!

Only our second park and we are hooked! After 7 yes full time I can’t believe it took so long to find these parks! Amazing!

Getting There
From Jefferson, TX, travel 3.8 mi northwest on Highway 49. Turn left onto FM 729 and continue for approximately 3.5 mi, then turn left again onto FM 726. Travel 5 mi, turn right at the stop sign and follow signs to the park entrance.
Highway access
Brushy Creek is accessible via Highway 49, which is approximately 3.8 miles from Jefferson, TX. Additionally, FM 729 and FM 726 provide further access to the campground.
