Our overnight tent camping stay was excellent. The shower house was clean, hot showers. Was very quiet and peaceful, we even had herons on the water to watch. The grounds and overall park were very well maintained.

Brushy Creek is a beautiful location, with a clean lake, rolling hills, and tall trees. The sites are mostly level, large, and nicely spaced. The electric and water work well. The people working the gate are friendly and helpful.
The restrooms are relatively clean, but a little bleach might go a long way toward making some mildew disappear.
There's lots to do in Jefferson, which is about a 15-minute drive.

The couple at front gate was very rude to us and company that was with us. Also told people coming to see us that no company was aloud.
But i grew up out at brushy creek. Went last year had a blast.
