People driving thru camping areas too fast and lots of kids around. I would like to see more RV sites on the water so you could leave your boat in the water because there isn't enough parking at the campsite for RV and truck/ boat.

Great facility with beautiful views all around. We went when it was too cold to swim or ski but we enjoyed everything else. The hookups were well taken care of and easy to set up. The bathhouse facilities were nice and clean. And there was plenty of hot water. Each campsite was spacious and not too cramped along side the others.
Overall, it was a great stay!

Sites are very close together. Load past curfew. Front gate staff very rude and inconsiderate. Bathrooms dirty and no toilet paper showers and toilets leak. Will not stay again

It had been 4 years since we had visited Brushy Creek, and it was great to return. The park faced challenges from severe weather damage a year, or so, ago, and it was great to, finally, revisit this beautiful park. Our RV spot offered great power and water supply. We felt very secure in this park. While strolling around the park, the tent areas are very nice (for those who tent camp). We spent time at the nearby dam spillway, and enjoyed watching families fishing there. Nearby Jefferson (Tx) has been a place that we've visit several times over the past 3 or 4 decades. The downtown area of Jefferson has a lot to offer. We visited nearby Buckhorn park, and will plan a future RV trip to that park. We shall return to Brushy Creek again this year.

Great fishing! Beautiful campground. Bathrooms could use some updating, but they were clean. Always friendly people at campgrounds. Close by is Jefferson, a quaint little town to visit. Auntie Skinners has great food there.

Great park with sites nicely spread out.
Site was clean and fairly level with a little broken asphalt. Bathroom (nearest our site) was in bad shape.

I am very happy with the park and itβs facilities and will be coming back. A couple of things that would have made the trip better are; add a second dump hole to each dump station, it too me an hour to get dumped at 2pm on a Sunday; repair the dock at the boat launch, they have a platform but no bridge the get to it; add a fishing dock, a jetty is not really good for fishing a lit dock would be great. Staff was great and place has clean I really like it.
