Quiet and peaceful except for a jet skier running up and the cove.

Peaceful, and some sites are very spacious. It's 200+ miles from home, but we will definitely be back.

The facilities were very nice. The site was beautiful & had a great view of the lake. We booked E207, which is a double site. The only problem was that it had a rained a bit that day, & one of our sites had water in the firepit, like a little lake, and some standing water in the site, so you had to step over & around puddles. I would expect it wouldn't take much to add a little drainage, so that the water can flow down the hill, away from the site. It wasn't too bad, because it stopped raining that night & was much dryer in the morning, so we still had a great time. There was just not going to be a fire in that firepit on the first night!

It is a pretty campground. Almost every site has a view of the lake. It was pretty cold and rainy when we were there but it is a favorite place!

Great camping, we will return. There is a hiking trail that crosses the campground road, look for the signs, as the trail isn't on the campground map.

Sites are spacious many of them are on the water, a well maintained park and clean, it is personally the best of the 4 camp grounds that Corps of Engineers have on the Lake. Lots of campers brought there own boats as the boat ramp was very close. We had a nice couple of days chilling by the lake.
