Web site does not give accurate location and layout of sites. Add pictures, size, shade, water view, etc to site description.

Excellent camp ground. I love Brushy Creek. Easy access, clean and shady. I’m glad they are reopened. We will be back.

This was out first trip with our camper. The park was easy to get around end, site was easy to back into even for a first timer, and very clean. The park was quite and a great place just to kick back and relax. We will be going back.

Everything went well except for parking. We were in E214. I had gone over a couple weeks prior to look at the location and saw another site behind us. The site was part of E3 which is closed. I asked if it was available and was told no. The Ranger that was there at the time told me he saw people parked in the spot all the time, so I figured it would be a great spot to park our pontoon instead of on the grass. The gate keeper, Stephen, woke us up knocking on our door the next morning after we arrived late the evening before and told me that we had to move or the Ranger would charge us for parking on the spot. He insisted that I move the pontoon immediately, so we did. Later that evening, we had family that was renting spot E205 come over with a fish fryer to cook and they parked in the spot. Stephen came up after dark while we were sitting outside visiting and told us they had to move or the Ranger would charge them for the spot. We told him to just go ahead and charge us for the spot. He fussed the entire time he was leaving, waving his hands in the air and complaining about why we'd pay for it when there was free parking up the road. It was raining lightly at the time and we were all sitting under our canopy....didn't make much sense to park up the road. The next afternoon he stopped and was headed over again to tell us to move out of the spot, when my husband flagged a Ranger down who was driving by. The Ranger told us it was okay to park in the spot as it could not be rented. Stephen argued with the Ranger in front of us, but after that, he left us alone about parking in the site. Basically we were harassed for 3 days even after we agreed for him to charge us for the site. We didn't mind losing power for part of one day, in fact, my husband who is an electrician went over to offer assistance. Due to the ridiculous harassment, Brushy will be our last choice for camping on LOP.

Booked two nights so I could get there early to stay one night. Park doesn’t open until 10:00 so arriving before that is problematic but luckily the park host was outside and gave us the entry code for the gate

great park, clean and quiet. If looking for place to camp, I recommend. If looking for other activities to do around there, there didn't seem to be much that was very close.
