One of the best state parks I have used. Great lake views, paved streets, really nice paved parking pads, not crowded, treed lots. I wish I had more days to stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Cut trip short due to a burn ban imposed (by county) the first morning there - but we'll be back.

The park was not well maintenanced. Grass around RV needed mowing/weedeating badly.

Buckhorn is our favorite place to camp. We live on the Spring Hill area of Longview and only a 45 minute drive. We have several sites that are our favorites. The Sunset's here are always so beautiful. The park is well kept and clean restrooms and showers. Great [place to meet people and everyone is always so friendly. We camp here on average 6 times a year. Thank you for such a wonderful campground.

Great spot for larger RV pull through. Great breezes and shade. Easy access to walk and take in the surroundings. We even saw a bald eagle dive into the lake for his fish dinner.. that was exciting!!

Buckhorn Creek Campground is a beautiful, clean and peaceful park. The sites are mostly level, long and generously spaced apart. Some sites are shaded and the row that borders the lake are really special. If you want full service sites, however, you are limited to the "E" ring that doesn't offer quite the views or shade of the sites closest to the lake. Overall, a great experience and one I will gladly do again!

Need to mow around campsites more often as some of the grass is tall

The campsites need to be mowed more often… I always bring a mower and had to mow my own site… grass was almost as tall as the electric box…

Nice quiet campground. Only complaint is they do NOT believe in weedeating! The weeds were as tall as our table so we could not use it. It was this way at most of the sites.
