Site E102 and the rest of the sites in that circle have a serious gravity problem when it comes to draining the gray and black tank hoses. The connection is at the end of the driveway on the highest level of the driveway. The water pressure is extremely low where many of the guests had to remove the water filter just to get enough pressure to shower.
This park needs major renovations to stay competitive with state and private parks in the area.
Consider a general store at the HQs building.

Great hosts, beautiful views of lake. Deer came by every morning and evening like.a parade. Full hook up site was level but a little tight getting car off the road. Going back this fall. Must drive into Jefferson Texas as the have a neat downtown to explore. Bathroom were clean and better than average for COE.

We had a great 2 day camping trip. The campsite was clean and all the utilities worked as expected. Camp hosts were friendly and extremely helpful as they carted around the campgrounds, ensuring all of the visitors were having a good, safe experience. I can't rate showers or bathrooms as we didn't use them.
We have visited here many times. Never had a negative experience.
The lake level was extremely high due to many previous storms that have occurred this spring. Boat ramp was usable but the walkway to the docking platforms was 5 ft underwater.
We will continue returning here because we always have a fun time.

We went for our anniversary camping trip. We stayed at the site T205 right on the water. The sites are pretty close together but it would be great to rent several and stay in a group. There isn't any water hookup at each site but there are three spigots in the camping area. The staff was friendly and even though there were people at most sites it was quiet and relaxing. My only complaint was that there needs to be a little more lighting outside of the bathrooms.

We had spot E406. Easy back in, clean concrete that's leveled. 180 degree view of lake and can pull boat right up to the camp in a cove safe from large waves. EXCELLENT VISIT, LOVE THE FOLKS THAT TAKE CARE OF IT!!! We'll be back soon!!!
