Site 112: Probably one of the nicest sites in the entire campground. A very large lot, passenger side of motorhome faces a heavily treed forest, and the front of the coach faces the lake very nearby. Also a lot of deer in the early morning and early evening. Full hookups but only 30 amp so you have to be a little careful with electric usage. Loved the site.

This used to be one of the best camps in East Texas ! But over the years the maintenance and the rules have both fallen by the way side. Unfortunately ! The natural beauty of the park is most definitely still there. So many of the fire rings are basically unusable because they are placed on the side of inclines are they are set right against the concrete pads. We were there a few days after the Gov. shutdown. One of the park hosts was busy blowing leaves and cleaning up around the RV pads. He did a very nice job.

We loved the campground. It was well kept and a beautiful area. The lovely lady at the gate house was more than helpful. Will definitely camp here again.

The Park is always nice and our camp site is great.
The only issue this time was the water pressure. It was very low the entire time we were there.
