What Guests Are Saying
Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area is praised for its beautiful scenery, spacious and quiet campgrounds, and well-maintained facilities, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. Many visitors enjoyed the hiking trails, clean restrooms, and peaceful atmosphere, with some returning frequently. However, there were a few concerns regarding noise from neighbors, occasional maintenance issues, and a lack of sewer hookups, but overall, guests had a positive experience and expressed a desire to return.

Quiet, clean restroom/showers, good spacing of sites. Sites could stand renewal of parking surfaces- old pavement broken up by tree roots pretty bed. Site was still better than some others we have stayed at before. Overall very workable.

This is a very nice place to stay with beautiful surroundings. The bathroom facilities were clean but cold as it was in January when we stayed here. There was hot water in the shower but no heat in the room. Sites are spaced generously and I do not think it would feel crowded even if the campground was full. We enjoyed it.

As always, a great place to stay for several days. Wonderful people, lots of trees and, most importantly, an abundance of space between camp sites.

We had a beautiful campsite and enjoyed the quiet, the scenery, and the trails. We had water and electricity at our site. We did use the bathrooms and showers and they were clean and worked fine, though the shower was barely warm.
