Had a wonderful time camping at Ratcliff Lake with our family! The sites are nice and big with plenty of room for the kids to play. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained too. Next time we come we will have to bring our bikes!

Really enjoyed my camping/hiking trip to Ratcliff. The campsites in Loblolly Loop are spacious and well maintained as are the restrooms. All in all, a very enjoyable trip!

We arrived on a cool misty Sunday afternoon, so it was super quiet. We did a lot of walking with our dogs. We walked the blue trail once. The one thing that caught me off guard was the amount of ticks we found on our dogs after that walk. It was CRAZY!

We live over 3 hours away from this park, but it is well worth the drive. It is absolutely beautiful! The campsites are very spaceous. We will definitely come back!

We camp at Ratcliff Recreation Area once or twice each year and really love October. The trails are a wonderful experience and full of nature scenes. I wish for more places to just sit and absorb the area, but that might destroy some of the natural feel.
We look forward to each visit with yearning for the peace and tranquility.

First time at Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area and found a great place to get away and relax. Campsites were large and well shaded, as well as having level pads. Enjoyed the hiking trails and lake. Will plan trips here again. Bathhouses were as clean as i have seen.

Loved our trip to Ratcliff Lake. It was incredibly easy to book online and get to. Once there, signage was clear and we had no trouble finding our loop and campsite. The campgrounds, trails and bathrooms were kept very clean. Campers and hikers were courteous and we didn’t have any noise complaints. Happy with the distance between campsites. Trails were short and easy (we didn’t take the 4C) so if your looking for a nice leisurely stroll with the kids, this is a great location. Enjoyed the multiple observation points (with seating) throughout the trails with pictures and descriptions of wildlife to watch for. We will be returning regularly!
