What Guests Are Saying
Plowman Creek is highly praised for its excellent condition, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly camp hosts. Campers appreciate the spacious, well-maintained sites with easy access to water and electricity, along with beautiful scenery and clean facilities. While some noted minor issues with restrooms and inconsiderate fellow campers, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

We booked our week longc camping trip months in advance. Let me tell you. We were not happy with the conditions of the camp ground. The grass had not been mowed it was past our knees high. We fought stickers all day even in our tents. It was myself and husband my 16 year old granddaughter and my sister. We were suppose to have our son and 4 more grandchildren come out but I made them cancel because the little ones would get hurt from all the stickers. We stayed 5 days trying to make the best out of a bad situation since we took the tome off from work. But we ended up leaving 2days early. The restrooms were never cleaned but had tissue. It wasn't very enjoyable. Another camper who lived close went home and got their lawn mower. We all enjoyed each other's company but agreed to never go back. I did get an email stating the were refunding me for the two days we didn't stay. But I haven't received the money as of yet.

Grass not cut low. The spacing at the equestrian area spaced very close and could not even let my awnings or slide out with staggering r the back up between spaces. Very poor . Closed gate to early as my guess’s were made to walk in and would not open the gate at 9:50pm for them to drive in. New man hire gave my cane using guest a ride to space 39. Not happy with your Plowman Creek park. I was there a week.

Amazing small park, lots of trees, most spaces are on the water. All spaces looked to be very easy to back into. Lots of afternoon/evening sun on the campers. Amazing views and easy access to the water. A very well kept park. Consumer cellular works as well as AT&T but Verizon does not. Lots of alligator far - they wont mess with you in the water. Catfish was biting and was 12" to 2' in length. My family does catch and release. Kayaking and Paddle boarding was easy as there is a small island just off the shore for a bit of protection from boaters if you are a first timer. It is near there that the fishing was good. The restroom/showers (atleast the one I went to) was very clean - meaning no critters watching you and nothing left behind from previous client. I am a huge fan of this park.

Nice spacious sites on the lake! Bathrooms were very well stocked and clean. Front lady at the gate when we arrived was very helpful and informative. My only complaint is that the rules stayed quiet hours after 10pm including generators. The staff wasn’t on top of that for the last night we stayed. Campers next to us had their loud generator running the whole night.
