The campground is beautiful. Our lot was clean and spacious. The grandkids loved their first tent camping experience.

The sites are aging a bit, but everything we needed worked and the view was great. Campsites are spaced far enough apart that you are not feeling crowded. If you want to grill, be sure to bring your own grill or plan to use the fire pit - the ones at the sites are mostly rusted out at the bottom on at least one end.

The man at check in was very helpful and friendly! The whole park was clean and well mowed and the restrooms were spotless!

Call to be sure your unit is working. When we got there, the electricity was not working. We had to pack up and move spots and that spot was not working properly either , but we didn’t want to move again. The people were very apologetic and nice, so we made the best of it.

The attendants need to work on their people skills. It might be a retirement job but its still a job and customer service is required. They need to be professional and courteous to all guests at all times.

Campsite was awesome! Experience was magnificent. Don't recommend tent camping in Texas in August. My 4 year old had been pestering me for 6 weeks to go camping so I obliged her. The heat didn't bother her at all.

Nice campground. No 50 amp hookups but you can "adapt" to a "30 amp" - just note the spot i was in had electrical nox tags stating 20 amp so plan on resetting the breaker a few times. Swim beach is decent (a few small glass shards - c'mon campers... really?). Boat dock in poor repair for passenger loading but the launch is adequate. Easy shore access as well. Overall - well, I"ll be back.
