I love camping and riding at Pat Mayes. I do wish however that people with horses got first chance at these FEW spots since that’s the ONLY camp area that allows horses. Rent to the others with the knowledge that IF a person with a horse needs that spot and there are other spots available for them…they should have to move to that spot! JUST A THOUGHT 🥴😊

Beautiful area. More space between campsites than most. Several sites have corrals for horses, as there are horse trails on site.

Beaches and trails were great! Horse manure situation can stand improvement but over all it was a pleasant experience
