This is a great park with well graded and appointed campsites. Restrooms, even where pit type, are maintained to be very clean. No water in restrooms, so make sure you bring plenty of your own hand sanitizer. Can always wash up at your campsite water, but that’s inconvenient. Hiking, bike trails and lake access are better than most.

The area to dump manure is way far away from most camp sites and down a steep hill. Is this the best you can come up with? Too few pens for the horses. No showers. Dump station is on the wrong side for trailers leaving the park and the turn into the dump was difficult pulling a 39 foot living quarters horse trailer. A lot of trees are in the way for backing 39 foot trailers into the camp site. The horse pens are only accessible by opening and entire stock panel. There's no gates. It is made more difficult by having to lift the panel over the cross ties.
