What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and quiet campground with large, clean campsites and friendly staff, making it a great choice for relaxation and family gatherings. Many visitors appreciated the scenic views, well-marked trails, and the overall cleanliness of the park. However, the facilities, particularly the restrooms and showers, require significant maintenance and updates to enhance the camping experience.

Loved this spot!! Plenty of room shade and space - didn’t feel crowded- perfect trails down to water, perfect beach area and place to park a boat!

There has been no upkeep in the area. All areas are overgrown with grass. There is only a single water faucet for two campsites. Electric service is old and cannot handle modern conveniences.

Tent camped solo female - felt safe Camp host was very friendly and fun - Spot A5 right off the water - great spot. Beautiful view and beautiful sunset. Bathroom access in reasonable distance. Pit Toilets needed a little TLC but wasn't too bad. Needs hand sanitizer. Showers definitely needs some work and is not conveniently located but the location did not bother me much. But the need for work did. Since they do not actively seek donations but do accept them, and many people may not know they have the option to donate AND our tax dollars only go so far to keep the place open with minimal maintenance, I am going to shamelessly suggest to all who read my review ***DONATE***DONATE***DONATE*** to help keep your ACOE parks and recs open and in good condition!

Grass was a little tall… we were there 4 days and they never came to clean the bathroom by our campsite.

I had reserved both sites 5-6. The space and access to the water were amazing. I will say be prepared to fight for your space that you paid for. We had to fight off 12 ppl over 3 days. They pass right by the big red no day use sign and roll right over our dogs leashes and through our tents and stuff. Also had an issue with a small unleashed dog constantly coming over into our site to our very much larger dogs. Overall the only issue is people not following directions or rules. The site and grounds themselves were okay. Views were great.
