What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and clean campground with spacious sites, lovely views, and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many campers. While the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, require significant updates and maintenance. The roads leading to the park are in poor condition, but the overall experience is enjoyable, with plenty of outdoor activities available nearby.

Very rocky ground in the C Loop area so be aware if tent camping. Most of the electric spaces are setup for RVs and we ended up having to change campsites so we could find a site with electric that also had a decent spot for a tent. Came in on Friday and no one was at the booth to check in so we called both numbers provided. The 800 number was useless and the local number has no answer. Went to "officially" check in the next day and the lady at the booth acted like we did check in correctly even though there was no way to since no one was there. It's a nice camping area and the bathrooms are clean but I will most likely not be back since the electric campsites are not tent friendly and the check in process is not clear for when the gate is not manned. Also there was trash left at the campsite next to us that we cleaned up.

Stayed in area A. Good area for short trailers but a bit tight for longer karger trailers and motor homes. Not much level ground to pitch a tent. But the trees provide lots of shade, and you a directly above the sanders cove boat ramp. Park check station was not staffed for several days. Another camper was in my reserved campsite well past checkout time. They were away from the campsite and i had to wait their return to show them my reservation. Park staff was not available to help.

Very nice people working at the gate house. They were very helpful. Big thank you to Pam. We didn't have reservations but it didn't take long for her to find us a site and get checked in.
