Nice campground for an overnight. Restrooms needed some work, but overall a good COE We stayed in our campervan.

Access to this space was not good (B19) for our 35 ft 5th wheel, they really should not let that big of a rig in those spaces. The site itself was fine and roomy and level, but the turnaround to get to it was WAAAYYY too tight, we took out the back window of our truck with the front of the cab, husband was concentrating on not taking out the side of the coach on the tree in the middle, didn’t see the sharp angle the front of the 5th wheel was making. No other way to get the rig backed in unless we backed in all the way from the main road, which was not an option for us. Other than that, great park, very quiet and peaceful. We chose this space to have open sky so our Starlink worked, and it did. Other spaces not on that loop did not have as much open Sky access, lots more trees.

we had the pull through site for an overnight. If you have a long rig, it could be tricky as you have to go down the loop and make a circle turn around which is pretty tight. We have a 35 ft TT and F150, no issues. Sites well maintained.

We have now stayed here a number of times and continue to simply love it.
We have out favorite sights and enjoy that there is distance between them.
This year we brought our paddle boards. The only annoyance was someone on the beach deciding to follow us with his drone....which I'm not sure are even allowed but aside from his rudeness, it was a perfect paddle.

A beautiful place to stay, especially if you like biking/hiking. They have several miles of DORBA trails that are well marked and fun. When we stayed in Oct 2023, just camping loop B was open and it was completely booked so it got a little crowded. I wish the other loops had been open and/or the sites were more spread out. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked. Overall a very nice place to camp, just unfortunate timing for us.

From Paris, TX, take HWY 271 north 12 mi to FM 906 W and follow it 1 mi to CR 35920. Turn left into the park following signs.
Highway access
Sanders Cove is accessible via HWY 271, which is approximately 12 miles south from Paris, TX. Additionally, FM 906 provides access to CR 35920.

- Entrance gate opens and closes; vehicles may leave at any time but cannot enter until the following morning
