What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and clean campground with spacious sites, lovely views, and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many campers. While the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, require significant updates and maintenance. The roads leading to the park are in poor condition, but the overall experience is enjoyable, with plenty of outdoor activities available nearby.

It was a little hot , so fishing was slow and bike riding didn't have a lot of breeze, really good other than that

Well, it could be a lot nicer. We stayed there Labor Day weekend. The fire pit was full of beer cans and trash from the previous camper. The sites could have been mowed. The restrooms are absolutely nasty and could stand major upgrades. Given a chance to stay at a state park versus a Corp of Engineer campground, I will always choose the state park if at all possible.

Worst spot in my time. Open door and have a 4 ft drop off with a bad knee. Should not rent out the spot

We arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Only 1 other camper in our loop. So quiet!! And very dark !! Showers are a bit down the road but not a deal breaker.
Will be a definite return to place!
