What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and clean campground with spacious sites, lovely views, and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many campers. While the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, require significant updates and maintenance. The roads leading to the park are in poor condition, but the overall experience is enjoyable, with plenty of outdoor activities available nearby.

Wish you would change check in and check out time. Just to late to get in and set up after a 6pm ck in. A lot of campers wish you would change the time. Please see if times can be moved up by at least 2 or 3 hours. Thanks

Grounds were clean and well maintained. Check in and out were easy. Electricity and water worked well. We are thankful the main road was repaved recently. However, there
are still roads that desperately need repaving. At the interior exit on Loop B, there is a hole that every rv and vehicle that takes that exit hits. It is in the middle of the road and cannot be avoided by one or more wheels.
I understand that the dumpster placements have had issues in the past because of the weight of the trash trucks. The large white rocks have helped that issue but has caused another issue. The rocks are very difficult to walk on when putting trash in the dumpster. It has become a safety issue to put trash in the dumpster. I know there has been money spent on this problem in the past but I can't help but believe a concrete pad for the dumpsters would eliminate the safety issues caused by the large rock and keep the dumpsters out of the mud.

Stayed one night reserving at the last minute. B17 is beautiful but a little tight turning around our 33' trailer.

Locals leave trash on the beach. Rules don't pertain to them.

First time taking our Gazelle tent out. We were able to find a suitable spot even though it was an RV space. Had a birdseye view of the boat ramp so that was entertaining. Sucks being the guy with 6 guests and didn't bother making sure the boat would start prior to arrival. The couple at the gate are the nicest people you can meet and very helpful. It was nice seeing an active Park Ranger patrolling also. We're planning to go back soon.

This is a beautiful place to camp. The only negative were the crews who were working all around us searching for unexploded ordinance. That wasn't so much scary (the area was last used as a live fire range in the 1940's) as it was just detracting from the quiet beauty of the place. Also, the speedboats and fishing boats launch early in the morning so you won't be sleeping in if you are close to the boat ramp.

I had great time. It was peaceful and I enjoyed my weekend tent camping experience very much! Will do it again soon!
