Sanders Cove is a beautiful and quiet campground with large, clean campsites and friendly staff, making it a great choice for relaxation and family gatherings. Many visitors appreciated the scenic views, well-marked trails, and the overall cleanliness of the park. However, the facilities, particularly the restrooms and showers, require significant maintenance and updates to enhance the camping experience.

Beautiful area that is quiet and relaxing. Our site had a concrete pad. Loved everything about the place.

We have stayed at Sanders Cove for two weeks, being December the park is pretty much empty except for overnighters. The roads coming into the park are pavement but in very poor conditions, need to take it slow, once down in the loops the paved roads are fine, sites are paved and level, they include a table for grill or whatever, picnic table and fire ring, they are really nice. No problems with power at all. Views are beautiful of the lake.

Stayed here 11 days December since we had to have mobile repairmen come. Of course very quiet, other campers in and out. The sites and setup really nice and you have everthing you need. Only complaint is the road is terrible coming in, it is paved but in really bad shape, the loop B that we were in the roads were very nice.

The sites are neat and clean. All utilities work well. Usually fairly easy to get a lake view.

At the time of our visit the restrooms in our looped were closed. No explanation given other than a “closed” sign at the restrooms. We were not self-contained. Flush toilets were located approximately 3/4 mile back towards park entrance. We met others at the park entrance facility who stated restroom was closed at their loop at another section of the park as well.
We did not find out about restroom closure until we had set up camp. Prior notice at park entrance or via email would have been appreciated.
