What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and clean campground with spacious sites, lovely views, and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many campers. While the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, require significant updates and maintenance. The roads leading to the park are in poor condition, but the overall experience is enjoyable, with plenty of outdoor activities available nearby.

Sanders cove is a beautiful campground but without necessary amenities such as flush toilets in each loop and showers. The one building next to the dump station has flush toilets and showers however it is disgusting and not kept up. The dark green walls are literally pealing with paint and toilets seats are regularly broken. The monitoring of reservations and reserved notices are not utilized and people continue to park in your spot without paying. The Park host is a very friendly man with his dog, however the lack of oversite is obvious. We hope things will improve soon, as it has gone downhill rapidly!

Sanders cove is a quiet campground with a great choice of shaded, or not so shaded camping spots. Some of the sites are quite close to one another and water is shared between sites (double sided spigot). Make sure you have a long hose, so that it can reach your rig. Campground is very clean. Showers could use a little attention, but they work and are nice an warm! There are nice trails that are well marked.

Beautiful area that is quiet and relaxing. Our site had a concrete pad. Loved everything about the place.

We have stayed at Sanders Cove for two weeks, being December the park is pretty much empty except for overnighters. The roads coming into the park are pavement but in very poor conditions, need to take it slow, once down in the loops the paved roads are fine, sites are paved and level, they include a table for grill or whatever, picnic table and fire ring, they are really nice. No problems with power at all. Views are beautiful of the lake.
