What Guests Are Saying
Sanders Cove is a beautiful and clean campground with spacious sites, lovely views, and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many campers. While the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, require significant updates and maintenance. The roads leading to the park are in poor condition, but the overall experience is enjoyable, with plenty of outdoor activities available nearby.

We camp at Pat Mayse frequently and enjoy the 17 miles of scenic mountain bike trails they have at Sanders Cove that you can hike or bike. The staff there is courteous and professional. It’s conveniently located close to dining and local markets. Sanders Cove is a great family friendly place to chill and enjoy nature.

Campsite was excellent! Shade, good views, and wind protection. Picnic table, fire pit, and grill were good. Public restrooms were nearby, but no lighting. Sadly, other patrons trashed the restroom s and tossed garbage into the pit, regardless of signs.

We love the campground. There are lots of trees and B-loop is has the swimming area which is nice. It’s always very quiet and it’s a short drive to Paris. We camp in large groups, and it’s easy to see our friends and visit. I would give the campground 5 stars if it weren’t for the showers/bathrooms. They are honestly disgusting. They need a complete overhaul. The tiles are cracked and loose in the floor. The drains are ALWAYS clogged with hair and whatever else & floods when you shower. The stalls are filthy. The flush toilets and pit toilets are filthy gross.

Peaceful place to rest for the night. Loved the rough-hewn cedar in the bathroom. No showers in the loop i stayed in. Added water to my holding tank and acquired the dreaded rotten egg smell in the water heater. Had to flush the WH tank with vinegar and replace the anode rod when i got back home.

I spent several days at Pat Mayes Sanders Cove C Loop and it was so nice. Hook ups are nice & easy to work with, the spots are clean and overall its just joyful to be out there and relax. I feel very safe out there, the 'guard house' is watchful and friendly and I had a very good camping experience. Thank you!
