Some sites don’t have trees trimmed for big rigs. I was willing to trim so I could park and get far enough in to make an electrical connection, but host said I couldn’t. I had to switch sites at the last minute. Some sites have the asphalt coming apart and deep ruts. There is also a deep rut on the exit gate too which is so narrow I was afraid the rig would tip slightly and hit the gate post. It is also frustrating that 4 regular sites are now taken up by camp host or maintenance people. They are not using the two two by the gate. It is frustrating because to reduces the amount available for tax prayers.

Our stay at Clear Lake Park was very enjoyable. The facilities were clean and we were greeted by pleasant administrators. The park itself is well maintained and we had a great experience.

We had a great time even though it was windy. Not many sites and kind of close together but I like it wasn’t so big. Very quiet and outside sites were spacious and a small walk to the lake.

My short time at Clear Lake was very enjoyable ending on Sept 29th. I find quite irritating that Clear Lake closes on Sept 30th until April 2021, The last week of September was the first week of the best camping weather of the year. The other two parks on the lake, East Fork, and Lavonia are both open, so I see no reason for Clear Lake to close at that time. Hickory Creek on Lake Lewisville, Tx is also open year round. Everyone I have talked with at this campground over the past three years has agreed it should be open. SO YOU TELL ME. How do we make that happen??

Nice clean facilities. I would recommend Clear Lake to others. I think it should be open year round.

Great price, full hook up was nice. Public restrooms were clean, though I couldn’t get the sink faucet to work. Only down side was I had a bag of tools stolen from my truck.
