This park is not maintained in any way. All the good spots are taken by people that have sent up permanent homes there. Grass is knee high trying to get down to the water. You fit chiggers the whole time you are there!
We didn't finish our stay it was so bad. We move around to East Fork, much much nicer!

Nice quiet lake with waterfront sites but could use more shade on some spots. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms are newer but beware of wasps. Site pads and roads are in need of repair.

very old COE camp ground. All roads and site pads were in VERY poor condition, some pads unusable for motorhomes. 30A electrical hookup had a note on the pedestal not to exceed 21 amp draw, with no explanation. Was nice location on the lake, with some trees, and usually very quiet.

We enjoy staying at Clear Lake very much, I think we've stayed there three times. We like Clear Lake much more than Lavonia. We wish Clear Lake had a longer season so we could stay in the colder months.
