I just love this place. It’s clean and great views of the lake. Great place to spend a few days!

Could be a really nice campground. Sites are spacious and outer loop sites have beautiful lake views and access. Hook ups were good and cell signal was strong. Our firepit grate was broken. Roads inside the park are terrible with crumbling asphalt and abundant potholes. Our site had many bits of trash from a previous camper: cigarette butts, broken bits of plastic and metal, a large plastic bag down the hill toward the lake with leftover food and trash in it. Trees along our pad needed trimming for us to park our fifth wheel without scratching the sides. There is a dump station but the road to it is blocked by trees. In our 6 days there, we never saw anyone at the gatehouse. Perhaps funding is down and they are unable to tackle some capital improvements like the roads, but service from hosts/employees could definitely be improved.

The showers need serious attention. Roof vents and no heat make it ice cold on a cold day. The sprayers provide only a very narrow stream of water. The exit gate needs some leveling. The good? Hosts keep track of people coming in and out and the sites are very large with many beautiful views.
