Love watching the deer around the park and they have plenty of deer to watch. Took the hike on the trail and saw more deer. The trail has some downed trees from the storms we've have been having but still passable with a little effort.

Lots of campers, the lake view as you walk out of your camper is all any camper looks forward to and we were not pleased at how close the lake was. Plenty of spots to get to the lake and to do some shore fishing. Hope to visit again soon.

Rocky Point is my favorite spot on Wright Patman Lake. The campsites are great, and the management seems friendly. I wish the reservation web site was easier to navigate. The site needs some updates. I actually showed up without a confirmed reservation because the site kept going down before I got to the payment screen and received a confirmation. Once there I had to pull over and do it again. still had a great time that weekend .

A tornado hit the town across the lake and the electric power was shut down at this park. We left for home due to the electric power being out.
Otherwise it is a very nice park.
