What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Point at Wright Patman Dam is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean grounds, and friendly camp hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable destination for families and nature lovers. Campers appreciate the spacious sites with great lake views and the variety of wildlife, including deer. However, some reviews mention the need for restroom upgrades and occasional maintenance issues, such as overgrown grass and closed facilities, which could improve the overall experience.

Access to the water was not easy. Older folks couldn't get to the water for the rocks. So no fishing for us. The camping spaces were great. Peaceful and pretty park.

Nice campground, we come here often. I would like to see some speed bumps, since a lot of people drive too fast. Plenty of roads to walk and bike. Many people have boats for the lake. Be careful, thunder storms can pop up fast and be strong at times.

Our most recent stay (for Memorial Day) was great! Other than losing power for a few hours, it was wonderful. The previous stay (in April), though, was less than great. Whoever the camp hosts were at the time were less than friendly, to the point of being rude!
