Site was long and had shade. Up on a cliff, offers great view, but not access to the water.

The front gate folks were terrific, kind and helpful and gave us coloring books for our three grandchildren. Even though the lake was down, it was still very nice and our site was well-shaded. Close to town to enjoy Waco.

Site 23 is extremely close to site 22. These two sites are secluded from other sites and would be best to camp with another friend/family member that you know. The picnic table is behind the RV which was awkward. No good access to the water, as it is a steep rocky climb to get down there. Our water hookup is near the front of the RV, and the water faucet is way at the other end, be sure to bring a long hose to hook up. We had to run down to the local department store to get a longer hose. No more than 4 vehicles per campsite, even though the sites are secluded and there is not much traffic. Our family had to park at the front and be picked up and taken back by other family members for our small Easter celebration.
