It is very difficult for those of us who elect to stay at the park yet can't make the !0;00 deadline; I missed getting in Thursday night because I ran late at Fort Worth so didn't get to the park until 11:00 I choose the park because it is better for my horses and much more relaxing than staying at the arenas, but it is tough to make the deadline some nights. Wish you guys would consider an alternative for the 10:00 curfew

Got to camp in a small rv for 3 nights before they closed for this fall season. There is not a lot access to just walking down to the water to swim directly from you campsite because this place has cliffs, so to speak, down to the water. Lots of wildlife here and we love that it is being kept pristine in it's natural state. We launched our SUP's at the boat ramp at the furtherest end of the park. The sites have quite a lot of shade which is wonderful in this Texas heat. There is a dollar general up the road on the main highway where you turned in to get to the park which is convenient. The hiking trail was fun to do. Lots of places to ride your bicycles within the park, wish we would have brought ours. The push button showers were a bit awkward. Must be a water conservation thing. Not enough comes out at one time to even wet your soap. The shower at the furtherest end was the worst one about that. They were very clean facilities however. Saw a guy fishing in a boat and looked like he was netting a lot of stuff. Lake is low a bit from Texas drought, one boat ramp was closed. What a beautiful park indeed! Can't wait to go back someday.

The restroom was some distance and pretty steep to get to water edge. Neither was of importance to us. View was beautiful and everything else was excellent.

we stayed in spot 9, which was not level, had to block our jacks to get the left side up. The site was nice and private. There were no signs leading you to the dump station, used the toad to wander around to find it then when we did, as it would turn out it was the old one, the host stopped by to ask why we were using it. I explained the lack of signage, he laughed. nice guy but not very helpful.. Waco was a great stay, the mammoth dig and silos are must sees.

Amazing view of Lake Waco. Couldn't ask for anything more from a camp facility. Clean bathrooms with running water and showers. The wildlife throughout the park are always an added bonus. One of the best areas on the lake for producing healthy fish.
