Absolutely loved this park. The rv pads were spacious with some spaces having a shelter. Very easy access to the water and loads of deer walking around which is always enjoyable to see. The staff at check in was very friendly.

This park has been our go-to destination since it first opened.
Pros:
Conveniently located close to our home.
Near enough for our children and grandchildren to visit regularly.
A wonderful community of campers who make the park enjoyable.
The current hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
Cons:
Unfortunately, the park's maintenance has declined significantly. The grass is no longer mowed regularly, this makes it difficult for children to play at their campsites or in the common areas.
The BBQ pits, picnic tables, and pavilions are FILTHY and have not been properly cleaned in years. Campers are left to clean these facilities themselves before use.
Additionally, the pavement throughout the park is in poor condition. There are large potholes at the entrance and throughout the campsite areas that need immediate attention.
Trees are not maintained and limbs are falling regularly.
We truly enjoy this park and the people who stay here, which is why it's disappointing to see these maintenance issues continue. With proper upkeep and attention to cleanliness, this could once again be an outstanding place for families and campers to enjoy. And yes, with all of these issues, we still camp at this park. Look at the PROS again! Plus, we are some of the very people who CLEAN our sites, mow our grass, pick up trash, cut a limb here or there to keep them from hitting our camper, spray for insects and genuinely take care of the spot we are camping in EACH AND EVERY TIME! I would like to see the Corp take the same pride in this park AGAIN!!

We stayed in space 2. There is not a cover over the table but the location is great for bank fishing.

Camping site #2 had past foundation repairs performed and now the pad for parking your camper is Half road base rock mixed with a white powder like what is put on an old country road. It gets tracked into your camper every time you enter. and the pad itself is severely out of level and is a challenge to level the trailer. The parking area is good it has asphalt. the overall upkeep around the park was ok.

The grass needs to be mowed more often. To me the grass should be cut at least once a month. Seems to never be cut.
