Very well manicured park. Sites are large. Deer are everywhere. The greeters were excellent. The gate is open and unmanned. So just go to your site and they will come by shortly.
I was in lot one and it was fantastic.

I love this park as it’s off the main highway about 2 miles and you can choose sites close to the lake or up on the hill. There’s plenty of room to maneuver your camper as well as great spacing between sites. Easy to access the lake or to drive into Waco and take in the many different places from Baylor University to the Dr Pepper museum.

We had a great time. I do recommend bringing fishing poles, activities, or just sitting outside.

Easy access traveling from Hwy 6 two miles down to the campground. Most sites are fairly level and you can choose from lake front or inner loop up on the hill.

When we arrived .. trash was there from the previous occupants and wasn’t taken away.
Other than that pretty quite and peaceful.

Very nice location for a getaway so close to home. The lake looked so pretty, we walked and rode my bike quite a bit, and it was quiet and restful. Our 30 amp service had a bit of an issue, but we worked it out. The only issue we would have is the GPS/signage for the park. I'm thinking a sign is down, but there's no indication of where the park is off of the frontage road on Highway 6, and I wandered around quite a bit before the GPS finally got me there. My wife had no problems finding it, but I'm still thinking that there's a sign missing?

From I-35, take exit 330B Hwy 6 N toward Meridian for about 6 miles. After passing over the Lake on the Twin Bridges, take the first exit toward Lake Waco/Speegleville Park. Take a left on the access road. You will continue past the Twin Bridges Park about a quarter of a mile until you reach Overflow Road. Turn right on Overflow Road and drive for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance on the left.
