Love this park. It has become my favorite. My ONLY complaint is the grass needs mowing. Spent several weekends there this summer and it was never mowed. The frint gate it overgrown with grass and weeds.

Check in went well. Rest rooms were kept as clean as possible. Attendants were great and looked into any and all of our concerns. We will definitely be back. Wish they were open year long or at least through the end of November.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Speegleville Park. The grandchildren spent a lot of time swimming and fishing. And there was plenty of shade for all of us to just enjoy the time together.

Park attendants were very friendly and helpful. Campsite was spacious enough for our travel trailer and boat. It was clean and quite. A little hot during the morning hours but shady in the afternoon. Nice shady short walk through the trees to the waters edge and nice private little gravel swimming area behind campsite 26.

What a wonderful park. Very well kept and full of lovely fellow campers. We enjoyed every sunrise, sunset and watching the wildlife roam through the park.

Easy check in. Nice wide roads and large campsites. Easy access to the lake which was calm and beautiful. Highly recommend.

Site #23 is basically is a public entrance to the lake and anybody can walk through your site. (And many ppl DID). Also the grass was so tall at this site that I had to bring my own mower to cut it. The grass in some spots was as tall as my mower's motor. Also, bring some ant spray....wife and I were each bitten several times.
Other than the above, we enjoyed ourselves.
