When we arrived .. trash was there from the previous occupants and wasn’t taken away.
Other than that pretty quite and peaceful.

Speegleville Park is a peaceful campground with spacious, well-maintained sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great spot for relaxation and wildlife observation, particularly deer. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and the park's proximity to Waco, as well as the cleanliness of the area. However, there are notable maintenance concerns, particularly regarding restroom facilities, grass upkeep, and road conditions, which detract from the overall experience.

Easy access traveling from Hwy 6 two miles down to the campground. Most sites are fairly level and you can choose from lake front or inner loop up on the hill.

We had a great time. I do recommend bringing fishing poles, activities, or just sitting outside.

I love this park as it’s off the main highway about 2 mi and you can choose sites close to the lake or up on the hill. There’s plenty of room to maneuver your camper as well as great spacing between sites. Easy to access the lake or to drive into Waco and take in the many different places from Baylor University to the Dr Pepper museum.

Very well manicured park. Sites are large. Deer are everywhere. The greeters were excellent. The gate is open and unmanned. So just go to your site and they will come by shortly.
I was in lot one and it was fantastic.

Very quiet place to relax close to water. Campers have plenty of distance between them. I will recommend this place to anyone.
