Speegleville Park is a peaceful campground with spacious, well-maintained sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great spot for relaxation and wildlife observation, particularly deer. This park is close to everything in the Waco area. It was nice and quiet at my campsite with a great view of the lake. I saw lots of deer wandering through the campground both morning and evening. A very nice smaller campground.

Great spot. Private walkway down to the lake. Small beach like great for swimming. Very clean and spots are spread out.

Nice and very spacious park.
Nice lake view and access (or close to at anyway), and covered picnic tables were nice.
With that being said, there is room for improvement.
The Bathroom/Shower facilities are in serious need of a renovation. The patio covers could use a coat of paint.
I absolutely will return to this park. Lastly, the evening visits from the dozen or so deer and three ducks was a nice touch.

It was a great place where we were. Beautiful and next to the water where we kept our boat.
The only negative was someone stole our grill off the back of our camper.

Very nice park. Small with only 30 sites but all were spread out and most had some shade. Only drawback was the restroom was not very clean and was not near the campsites. Dump station was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again. Sorry forgot to take pictures of this park. Also there was a herd of deer that roamed through the park all the time, kind of cool to see them up close.

Love the park but there is a lot of stuff that needs to be done there like tree trimming, cleaning up dead & fallen trees. It’s also sad when you camp you have to take a mower & mow because the grass is mid calf high. Our park host Mark was push mowing camp sites the end of June so that it looked nice for July 4th weekend.
