What Guests Are Saying
East Fork offers a beautiful campground with large, spacious sites and stunning lake views, making it a relaxing destination for visitors. The staff is friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some sites require maintenance, including pad repairs and restroom cleanliness, and the lack of full hookups may be a drawback for longer stays. Overall, many guests appreciate the natural setting and plan to return despite minor issues.

Very nice out of the way place. Be careful and look closely near your fire pit for the notorious fire ants. Discovered only after it was tooooo late and they were having their field day on sandaled feet. OUCH

We enjoyed our stay, 3-9 July 2023. Our site utilities worked normally. Site C-16 is a bit sloped, so we had to use leveler blocks. Not many other sites have that much slope. We had 8am events away from the park to attend for 4 days, and once we needed to get in to the park but couldn't because of the late opening time, each day. Other days we stayed elsewhere until opening.

This is our local option, close to home. It's a nice park. The main boat ramp for the lake is here and the access runs between the campground and the water so traffic can be heavy. Overall, it's an excellent park with nice sites. The picnic tables are usually not great but attendants are helpful and friendly. Water and electric with a dump station upon exit.

Great place to camp. So quiet. People working there were great.

Once the rain let up, staff got the grass mowed which made the site more usable.
Restrooms were not once cleaned the entire time we were there, 11 nights. They were filthy, toilets had caked feces in the bowl, toilet paper stuck to wet floors, trash left in showers was not removed. Obviously, a report to the health department would shut down the restrooms as there is no way they comply with health codes.

The only complaint is that the grass is not mowed often enough.
