Park is very rundown from the sites to bathrooms. The roads were just repaved but they just put new blacktop over old stuff without fixing old defects.Already a quarter of the road is cracking and falling down grade .Big safety problem with rv and even a bicycle.Where’s all the money going from campsite fees ? Only plus is shopping, supplies are 5 minutes away in town.

Camp hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The bathroom cleanliness could be improved.
I did have to pick up large dog mess (3 piles) that was left right by the picnic table from the campers who used the site prior to us.
Not pleasant and some type of follow up should be imposed on patrons who bring animals and neglect their duties.
I suggest visiting the Fort Worth Cattle Drive if you’re in this area.

Very nice small campground. Sites are far apart. Amenities such as gas stations, Walmart and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only negative comment is the public restrooms were out of order.

Lot was mowed and roads were repaired! We are happy with the better maintenance.
Nice large lots and fairly level RV pads

The site was OK. Water and electricity were at the front of the site but we could reach. The ground was so parched it was cracked to the point of twisting an ankle. Fire ants all over. Several sites looked as though there were campers permanently set up but nobody bothered us. The biggest negative was the gate being closed between 10-10 without a code to get in. Roads in the area were in terrible condition.

Great place. Did our shakedown 1st night in new travel trailer and was great. Was booked online but being 40 min away was able to get a local spot by showing up. Will be back being it is so close by. Roads are recently paved and sites are not super close to each other.

Old and tired campground. It was good enough for what we needed. Broken asphalt pads. Didn’t try the bathhouses.
We could get to the water easily, even the the lake was low for this time of year.

Bathrooms are so hot that you can barely stand to take a shower in there, the sink water is nothing but hot water so you brush your teeth and hot water. The bathrooms are not cleaned every day the trash is not emptied every day, the bathroom stink like sewer. The water drainage from the shower goes all the way to the toilet so you're stepping in water the whole time. They need to get a ventilation system in that bathroom I'm not understanding why they haven't done that yet when there's been other comments about this issue. The people that run the park are extremely nice though
