The pads need leveled and more gravel in the drives. It rained while we were there and the whole site was a mud-hole.
We will be back. We like the place and the attendants are nice.

This is a nice park. Staff is super friendly and amenities are pretty decent. Bathrooms could use a renovation but nothing majorly bad.

This park has very roomy sites and nice views. Bathhouses could use some small barrier to keep the water from running all over the big room; you will need to keep your dry stuff up since the water runs over the entire room. Clean, functional and hot to warm water. Be advised that the sewage dump is outside the locked gate. Also advise you to book sites near the front gate if you are coming in after 10pm or leaving and trying to come back before 10am, as you will have to leave your vehicle outside the gate and walk in. So staying out late going to Dallas requires some planning. The hosts on site say the gates lock and not much they can do. We only know of one other USACE park that locks you out with specific hours. Others give you a gate code, wonder why this one can't?

Could have been 5 star if Park had some TLC. All RV pads need work. Most trees need trimming. Several had dead trees near where RV is on pad. Bathrooms were clean, but showing wear and tear, but what do you expect when lowest bid wins contact. Several sites had water leaks, oh well maybe when they get new manager things will improve, can only hope.
