What Guests Are Saying
East Fork offers a beautiful campground with large, spacious sites and stunning lake views, making it a relaxing destination for visitors. The staff is friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some sites require maintenance, including pad repairs and restroom cleanliness, and the lack of full hookups may be a drawback for longer stays. Overall, many guests appreciate the natural setting and plan to return despite minor issues.

We are full timers and love corps parks.
This park has very nicely spaced sites, and wonderful fields of wildflowers in springtime.
Gate keepers are very friendly and helpful.
All in all it was a pleasant stay.
However, the sites need fill and leveling. There were several sites where people had to wade to get to their camping unit.
The restrooms need better attention than they get.

This place was so nice for our first time out. We wanted something quiet and close by so we could get all those "firsts" out of the way. We got a spot right next to the bathrooms. The dump station could be updated a little bit, but then again, I'm new to all this. You are close to all sorts of things so it's a nice spot if you are wanting to have a quiet, restful, peaceful night, but want to be close enough to go do activities during the day.

The park hosts were very nice and friendly, and this park has the potential to be very nice, but it is very worn down and probably the worst maintained COE park we have experienced. The sites appear to have been paved at some point but are so worn down that the pavement is barely gravel now, and the rain we experienced caused most of the sites to be filled with water and mud. If the ACOE has a special expertise, it has got to be water management, so the fact that the drainage is so poor at this park is surprising and disappointing. Fortunately, we spent very little time at our RV, but when we did, I had to go and buy rain boots to get from our trailer to our truck because both were standing in several inches of water. Also, the grass in and around the sites was easily 12" or more tall, obviously had not been mowed in quite some time, which is an attractive invitation to ticks, snakes, and over vermin.

Almost knee deep in water to hook up to the water and electric. It had been raining for a couple of days, but there were depressions around both the water and electric connections. Everything needed mowing, but it was early in the season , so not unexpected.

We arrived on Friday, April 5th and cleared the front gate quickly and set up at our site for 5 days. The park was clean and quiet when we were there. We left every day to visit our family in Wylie, so we missed lots of camper movements. We had good power and water and we dumped our tanks the day before we left and all went well. With so much rain after the eclipse, we decided to leave a day early and the gate attendant marked us leaving a day early, so we got a $15 refund. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The campground was a pleasant surprise with spacious, grassy camp spaces offering a nice change of pace. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The view of the lake was lovely, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The availability of showers and reliable utilities made for a comfortable camping experience. Plus, it's family and dog-friendly, which is always a bonus. Overall, a solid choice for a relaxing getaway.
