The park was clean & staff was nice…but a bit run down. The fire ring at our spot was so rusted through that fire spread to the surrounding area.
If your looking for a relaxing place to camp…this isn’t it! The town has grown so much that you can hear traffic all hours, and the sky just doesn’t get dark.
Despite these things, we still had a nice time, but won’t camp there again.

If you get a lake view site, you’re lucky. There are some with standing grills some not. The showers are hot and restrooms clean. One problem is they lock the gates coming in until 10 am. It’s close to certain areas if the metroplex.

Very nice stay. Been visiting this park for over 10 years because it is close to my daughter home. No other parks close and would normally never come back because of the terrible roads in the park. After ten years of complaints I guess the roads get repaired. Thank you!

The park has a new road. Thangs are looking better around the park. I was at east fork in May of this
year and things will started to look better. This is a campground near my sisters home so I use it regularly.

Open recreational area with easy access to lake! Sites were fairly level and good distance between sites. Staff was very accommodating! Good stopover or weekend use for boating related activities.

Excellent sites, widely spaced, mostly fairly level. Access to the lake is easy, views are lovely, and the park is very quiet, even on weekends.

The site was very uneven and after the rain, we had numerous inches for water between the trailer and the truck and the site remained flooded.
The gate does not open till 10 am. We found that Very inconvenient .
The bathrooms were to hot and sticky .
The gate keepers were Very friendly . Much praise and thanks to them.
