What Guests Are Saying
East Fork offers a beautiful campground with large, spacious sites and stunning lake views, making it a relaxing destination for visitors. The staff is friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some sites require maintenance, including pad repairs and restroom cleanliness, and the lack of full hookups may be a drawback for longer stays. Overall, many guests appreciate the natural setting and plan to return despite minor issues.

This park has great potential. Situated on a beautiful lake. But it really needs some TLC.. The grass was knee high except for the Host site (theirs was mowed and trimmed) the streets are full of giant pot hole and the sites need repaving or filling they are very unlevel. The mosquitoes were swarming and were voracious! Probably won’t visit this one again

Great stop with shopping near by. Beach and shoreline looked damaged from storms.

I hate to say the roads were in disrepair, the grass was extremely high which cause bugs thicker than I have ever experienced. The park has the ability to be wonderful, but obviously not getting enough funding. The people in the office were extremely nice though.

Site 4 which we chose, was so off level that it took 2 2X4 sets of boards to level. We could not chock the side with the 2X4s. When I extended the right front stabilizer jack, the left wheels came off the 2X4s and the stabilizer jack was demolished. I tried to straighten the jack but it was unusable so I removed it and we returned home. In total, we spent a little over an hour at the site. When I returned home, I replaced the two front stabilizer jacks with heavy duty jacks.

Basic campground with spacious sites. Usually quiet and very convenient to Dallas area. I will stay again. Restrooms are modern style with private shower rooms and plenty of hot water. Some trees for partial shade on most sites but no sites are completely shaped. There is a shade shelter over the table.
