Basic campground with spacious sites. Usually quiet and very convenient to Dallas area. I will stay again. Restrooms are modern style with private shower rooms and plenty of hot water. Some trees for partial shade on most sites but no sites are completely shaped. There is a shade shelter over the table.

Fire ring on site 30 needs to be repaired
Grass was extremely high, which made the bug problem very bad.

Roads in bad shape (some very bad). Grassy area needs mowing. Helpful & pleasant staff. Enjoyed Large areas between spaces. Beach access was reasonable. Convenient to

Great couple working the gate but the park needs major repairs….road is in terrible shape, needs to be mowed, sites are not level for big rigs. Could be a wonderful park just needs some love.

This place has amazing potential. The water view and sunsets are stunning!! However, it needs a lot of TLC. The facilities and campsites are run down and the grass is over grown. The roads are in desperate need of re-paving. It looks like it hasn’t been kept up in 20 years. It’s a shame that it doesn’t get better care.

Good campgrounds, Very nice gate folks and nice park Rangers as well. Just wish there were less spiders. And more trees 🌳

Trees were not cut back and our toyhauler was damaged. The grass was not cut and also there were to many spiders. The park is very nice, it just needs to be kept manicured.

This was our 3rd stay. Very nice park, we enjoy it very much. Do wish the was a code gate, so you can get in after 10pm ( as long as you are already checked and set up) . The gate attendee's are very nice and helpful.
