About Pine Valley Recreation Area

Pine Valley Recreation Area is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by the Pine Valley Mountains. There are several campgrounds with sites for single families, large groups, motorhomes, and horses. At an elevation of 6,900 feet the valley offers a great escape from the heat of the Southern Utah desert. Visitors enjoy fishing at nearby Pine Valley Reservoir and exploring local trails.

The Camp Host was helpful, professional, and friendly. The campsites were well maintained. The restrooms were clean. $9 for firewood is a bit high, but when in Rome. We had a great time.

Having a numerous amount of people in the group sites, our experience was great. We enjoyed all our activities feeling like we were the only ones around. The bathrooms were maintained, the area open, and the beauty of the landscape enjoyed!

It is always a great visit to camp here .. the "out houses" ("-) are always clean and the camp hosts are terrific ... we camp here at 2 x's a year (we r from Saint George, UT)

Pine Valley Reservoir is our favorite camping area in the summer time. The Santa Clara river walk is the best!
