About Pine Valley Recreation Area

Pine Valley Recreation Area is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by the Pine Valley Mountains. There are several campgrounds with sites for single families, large groups, motorhomes, and horses. At an elevation of 6,900 feet the valley offers a great escape from the heat of the Southern Utah desert. Visitors enjoy fishing at nearby Pine Valley Reservoir and exploring local trails.

Love this campground, very clean, quiet, peaceful.
cons: the weekends fill up very quickly, so the only time you can reserve for a week visit is during the week.
no cell/satalite service.
dry camping.
we come every year at least once.

The nicest camp host we have ever met. She was always asking about our stay and making us feel like family. The cleanest out door restrooms I ever seen and they smelled good too. This is now one of our favorite spots. Hopefully she is there next year too.

As we're within 40 miles of the Pine Valley Rec Area we try to visit as often as we can, however, this year we've been inundated by out of state, out of area people so that's been next to impossible. But, we're very happy when we can visit as it's our favorite camping location.

Very enjoyable. Campsites we’re very clean and ready upon our arrival. Bathrooms were cleaned in the mornings. Camp hosts were very friendly. Lost of deer out when we went!
