What Guests Are Saying
Pine Valley Recreation Area is praised as a hidden gem in southern Utah, known for its immaculate and well-maintained campgrounds, friendly camp hosts, and beautiful surroundings. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, including pit toilets, and the availability of shaded picnic areas. Though there was a temporary issue with potable water, most campers had a wonderful experience and plan to return.

We've been coming up here every summer since 2005. Not that they were ever a problem, but this has been the cleanest I've seen the bathrooms. The camp host Norbert was super friendly and helpful! It is obvious the stewardship of this beautiful area is taken seriously and it is greatly appreciated!

Other than the obnoxious neighbors we had for 2 of the 4 nights who insisted on running the RV generator for hours on end, it was a very peaceful stay. Quiet time is from 10pm - 6am and I had to get out of my warm tent after 10 to remind them to turn it off. They showed up a day before their reservation but then also left a day early so we were very happy to have our last night in silence. Outside of that, it was a very peaceful stay. Camp hosts were friendly, vault toilet was always clean and smelled nice thanks to the fabric softener sheet then hang in front of the vent. Plus it had a motion censored night light inside. Site is in full sun from about 10am - 2pm but after that, we had plenty of shade. Riverwalk path is paved and very nice as well. Definitely our new favorite campground.
