Campground and trail system were beautiful. Bathrooms clean. Covered pavilion was spacious. Downside: the dumpster is right next to the pavilion where we tended to gather as a group, and the smells and flies were unbearable at times.

I love coming to Pinevalley, UT. I always stayed at Yellow Pine or Dean Gardner campsite. This is a must for me 2-3 times out of the year. The town is not that far for ice cream.

Lots of space for everyone to fish, well maintained lots, and decent facilities. Beautiful loop. Kids had a blast. Heading back next weekend from Vegas.

The grounds were exceptionally well kept and clean. We fished, hiked, biked, and sat around a lot and just enjoyed ourselves. The only draw back was the smell from the latrine from time to time.

We come here often. The temperatures averages 20 degrees cooler than St George. The camp sites are level and graveled with cement pads. Good picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Many sites also include nice prepared tents sites. There is plenty of space in between the sites. No hook ups with a dump station a few miles outside the park. Use your federal park pass to get half off. The week days are quiet so relaxing and enjoying the wildlife and scenery is awesome. Allen the camp host is great. He keeps the restrooms in good condition. He drives through several times a day and checks that things are going good.
There are several hiking trail heads within the park. You can fish the lake (not a large lake.) Snow Canyon is just South on Hwy. 18. A piece of home made pie at the Veyo Pie Shop. You can kayak, fish, boat at Gunlock Resavoir, Sand Hollow ( all water sports plus ATV riding at the sand dunes), Quail Hollow, and all the golfing you would want.

I enjoyed the paved trail that extended around and out of the immediate campground to other areas. It made it very easy to traverse and see the forest and local area. The lake was neat, but I did not fish. I think if you enjoy fishing, then this campground (Dean Gardner) would be a nice choice.

Such a beautiful spot! There was plenty of space between tent spots so we felt relaxed but safe. The visiting cows were a fun addition! We even enjoyed the tiny hike up to our site!
