Beautiful place to camp. The weather was hot during the day, but cooled off at night. Restrooms were very clean and stocked.

the "rustic" campsites are pretty big for what you pay for. you do have to walk all of your stuff to the site from the parking space, but its not really a big deal. it is by a free-range cattle farm, so there were cows and deer in the sites in the morning.

Our camp hosts were great and so friendly! Sometimes we get some really rude camp hosts. I wish i has gotten their names. I think it was Mike and his wife. The bathrooms were so clean!

The hosts were wonderful - helpful and friendly. Due to the heat, there were many flies in the restroom. It would be nice to address that issue. Many of the women did not want to use them. But, overall we had a nice time.

Pine Valley is a nice area to camp in with pit toilets. Yes, there are flies in them most of the time, but the camp host keeps the bathroom clean and stocked with TP. There is a faucet outside the bathroom area for washing hands, filling water bottles, etc. Our site and others in the loop were not blown off after each visitor as were sites in other loops. We saw a blower and a gas can in the camp host's cage but don't know why the sites weren't blown off in between guests.
There is a nice reservoir stocked with trout nearby and a stream to walk down to.
