This campground is spectacular! Sites are clean, bathrooms are clean, and the creek/reservoir is an added bonus.

"check in" was confusing... We arrived after hours - I went to my email to check for information. All we knew was our site was E-3. When we got to our site it had a post that showed it was reserved for someone else. We setup there and had no issues but it was frustrating because we didn't know if someone was going to come and say they also had a reservation. Otherwise the site and the area was awesome!

Outstanding campground destination! Beautiful forks off the Santa Clara, and the fishing pond in front ot Dean Gardner being an easy walk away, this was a great camping experience. For anybody book Crackfoot sites C19-C23, be aware that there is a bit of a walk (unpaved, but leveled uphill) to those 5 spots. 19 is the shortest walk while 23 is the longest. We can't wait to get back out there!

The reservoir was crowded with people fishing. The spillway has been lowered, so the reservoir holds less water, thus accommodating fewer anglers.
