We were tent camping. Best kept campsites I’ve been too! I loved the designated tent area four our family but would be hard if I had more than one tent to set up. The river was beautiful and perfect for kids to play in and hop on rocks. I would take my family here again.

Nice trails, clean vault toilets. Staff was friendly. Campsite was clean upon arrival. Just wish there were more water locations.

All the loops in Pine Valley are great but Dean Gardener is the best cos of its proximity to the Reservoir. Hosts are great all around. Anyone having inhibitions with vault toilets should be assured these are cleaned round the clock think once every 2-3 hrs and its actually a non-issue. Have had more deer visits in the Crackfoot and Equestarian loops, where they will be around you during dawn. Many peope have these kind of views in their backyard but for those who are far away from any wildlife this is quite a spectacle. Our kids (and us) love it here, just because this was our first camping experience some years back we have our inhibitions to try something new location. Blessing in disguise is there is no cell phone coverage so adults and kids are spending time with pristine nature.
The reservations are done way in advance by folks who plan well, for others like me :) keep checking closer to your weekend and some cancellations will bring you luck.

I’m reluctant to write a good review because I don’t want anyone to know what a fantastic place this is. It’s hard enough to get a camping site on the weekends alone let everybody know how great it is so that’s even harder. 🤣

This campground is my favorite place to camp. It is always very clean & quiet. Our camp host was very nice & very informative. The restroom was clean & never had a smell & always had supplies.
