Spacious campground with large sites, beware the site my handle big rigs, the turn around to get to them is to tight causing you to fight a pine tree at top of turn .

The Canyon Rim campground has several beautiful campsites and the canyon itself is spectacular, so a visit is well in order. However, the campground seems poorly maintained in some respects and the nearby visitor center has truncated hours compared to other NPS facilities. Observation points near the center are barricaded for safety upgrades but that will change over time. The must-see activity is the canyon rim trail that affords marvelous views deep into and far across the Flaming Gorge.
